Vanishing Point | Historic I-74 Bridges

Photographed in December 2019, Vanishing Point captures the historic Interstate 74 bridges spanning the Mississippi River between Davenport, Iowa, and Moline, Illinois.

Viewed from beneath the bridges, the massive concrete supports and intricate steel structures converge toward a distant vanishing point. The black-and-white composition emphasizes the geometry, weathered textures, and industrial character of these landmarks before their demolition.
