Into the Mist — Fine Art Photographic Print

Historic I-74 Bridges | Mississippi River | Quad Cities

Suspended in the morning fog, the historic Interstate 74 bridges stretch across the Mississippi River, their steel towers gradually disappearing into the distance. The scene captures a fleeting moment of stillness along a crossing that connected Iowa and Illinois for generations.

Photographed in October 2019, Into the Mist preserves a view of the original I-74 bridges before their demolition. The subdued monochromatic tones emphasize the architectural lines, atmospheric depth, and quiet beauty of this once-familiar landmark.

Part of Jeremy Glazier’s fine-art photography collection documenting the landscapes, architecture, and disappearing history of the American Midwest.
