I’ve had a couple of fun reviews post on Ink19.com lately and wanted to share those here.
Elle King has a new album out called Shake your Spirit and it’s really incredible. You can call it pop but it’s also some funk, soul, rock and roll, and old school r&b.
Another I recently did was Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band’s new album Poor Until Pay Day. It’s some great Country & Blues but the kind you might hear about 60 years ago coming through the Carolina’s after a hard day working in a lumber mill or a coal mine.
I have an interview coming out soon with Reverend Peyton and hopefully will get Elle on the phone as well.
Several other great bands have stuff I’m working on and will try to get them on here in the next week.
