Heroes & Neighbors Veterans Appreciation event at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cedar Rapids on November 6, 2026.

The Freedom Foundation presents Heroes & Neighbors, an evening honoring veterans and the community that supports them.

The public is invited to an evening featuring a social hour, plated dinner, recognition of local veterans, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, a special car presentation to a deserving veteran, and entertainment by comedy mentalist Professor Phelyx.

Jeremy Glazier will also give special remarks during the program in support of the veterans and the Freedom Foundation.

Public: $40
Veterans: Free
Veteran spouses: $10

Proceeds support the Freedom Foundation and its work providing assistance, resources, fellowship, and support for veterans and their families.
