Those of you who know me well know that, besides the obsession I have with music, guitars, and a good song, I also have been obsessed with keeping myself healthy. I started weights in high school then tackled 3 different martial arts after that for a while. Came back to the weights in 2000 and tried my hand at bodybuilding, a few @upa_events_ powerlifting meets, and some muddy 5k’s for good measure. When I came back to the weights in 2000, one of the guys in the gym told me about a #cedarrapids guy who was in the film #PumpingIron. Always surprised anyone makes it out of here I started digging and while it took almost 10 years to reveal itself, Denny Gable became the first guy I had some interest in writing about.
